Youth Development CampTBAEarly season can be a challenging time for youth transitioning into winter sports from other activities. This three-day, six-session camp enables youth planning on joining either the Mini Merinos or the Youth Development to spend three intensive days on the snow with their coaches for some extra practise beforehand.

Weather day 19th July, SundayIn association with Highland Events, Snow Farm NZ will be hosting an event that comprises of a three and six hour rogaine, called 'Snogaine'. Backcountry ski, cross-country ski and snowshoe all around the Pisa Range to locate all the checkpoints.

Wanaka Ski Club
Championships – TBA

Wanaka Ski Club Championships. Event entries and club memberships took on the day. The first event will be a 5km Classic ski at 9:30am, followed by a 5km Skate ski race at 11:30am. Prize giving and Ski Club AGM at 1pm.

Secondary School Championship – 12th of September – CANCELLED FOR 2020

Unfortunately due to the rescheduling of the Merino Mujster, we have had to cancel the secondary school’s event. But you can enter the 7km Merino Muster instead!

This event is open to any students from Year 1 to 13 who are enrolled in a New Zealand school. There are 3 races on the same day; a 3km individual classic, a 1km individual freestyle (skating) and a 3km team relay. From each race, you collect points that go towards individual and school awards.A competitive team must have 3 students from the same school to be eligible for awards. Non-competitive mixed school, school staff and parent teams are most welcome.
