SNOW FUN ZONE
Our family-focused Snow Fun Zone is an area of snow where you can enjoy all of the classic winter activities. You can build a snowman, make snow angels, throw snowballs and tube down our slide.
Our short tubing hill is a fun safe experience, suitable for young children and adults who are looking for their first snow experience.
You must carry snow chains when driving up our ski-field road.

Pricing - $20pp
Our Snow Fun Zone is $20pp (for both children and adults)
All children under 16 need to be supervised by an adult.
Children under 3 are free.
Includes:
- Access to our snow fun zone and area for playing in the snow
- The use of our tubes and tubing hill. During busy times it may be necessary to share tubes.
Session Times
Our sessions run for 2 hours at the following times:
- 9:00 am – 11:00am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Snow Fun Zone
The tubing hill is a gentle slope designed for a safe and fun experience, it is not designed for thrills.
Best suited for younger children or those wanting to experience snow for the first time.
Children under 3 are free and classed as infants.
Anyone who enters our Snow Fun Zone area needs a ticket including parents or caregivers who are supervising their children.
You don’t need a ticket to access the base building, picnic tables outside the base building and cafe area.
All children (under the age of 16) MUST be supervised by a ticketed adult at all times.
We do not allow guests to bring their own sliding device. We do have plenty of tubes to share.
Snow Farm / Getting here
We are located 45 minutes from Wanaka and around an hour from Queenstown on the Pisa Range.
Once you get to our turn off, you will drive up our ski field road for 13km
All vehicles travelling to Snow Farm must carry chains and fit them on the road where indicated. These can be obtained from your rental car company or bought from local service stations or hardware stores. We do hire a limited number of chains on our website. You will need to learn how to put them on and identify the right size for your car.
Our scheduled opening is usually the third or final week of June and we usually close in the third week of September. Of course, this all depends on snow cover and weather!
