As New Zealand is now at Alert Level Two. We have subsequently adapted the way we operate to support a safe experience for our guests and staff.
At Alert Level Two, all sales must be through our website before you arrive at Snow Farm, or you can book on your phone while in the carpark. To support our extra tasks to facilitate a safe environment for you to enjoy, we have had to limit our capacity further.
Contact tracing app
We are using the government contact tracing app. Please ensure you have this downloaded and set up this app before you visit. You must scan the QR Code upon arrival at Snow Farm.
Arrivals
When you arrive at Snow Farm there will be one of our staff waiting inside the door to check you in and brief you on our protocols for operating at level 2 and direct you through the building.
Please ensure if you are in a lesson or other program, you arrive 30 minutes before your experience is due to start. People in lessons will be given priority in the queuing system if it is busy. Our rentals will be broken up into zones, so please be sure you go to the correct zone as directed by our staff once you are at Guest Services.
Please maintain a minimum 2m distance from other guests at all times outside and 1m inside.
Cafe
On weekends we will be taking bookings in the carpark for the Cafe. Guests will be able to book 25-minute slots from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for up to 10 people in each slot. Please let them know when you arrive when you want to go to the Cafe. On weekdays guest will be able to sue the 4 zones in the Cafe area.
The Cafe will be open and serving food from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. It is not open on other days unfortunatley. You can also get takeaways during this time to eat outside without booking a time slot.
We will need to control movements through the building so you may need to go around if you wish to grab some takeaways. We will only be able to allow guests getting rental equipment or making a purchase inside the Guest Services and Rentals area.
Skiing and Snow Shoeing
Please ensure you have booked online before you arrive at Snow Farm. When you arrive at Snow Farm check-in with the greeter, and they will explain to you how to line up for your time to access the rentals department.
Snow Fun Zone
Snow Fun Zone guests will have direct access to the Fun Zone without going into the building and must purchase online before they arrive.
Season Pass Holders with their own equipment
All seasons pass holders can access the trails from the south end of the building. Please park as you normally would and then walk to the southern end of the lodge and start skiing from there.
Season Pass Holders with Unlimited Rentals
Check-in with our greeter, and they will guide you to the area to line up for your opportunity to collect your rental equipment.
As we are at Alert Level Two, we ask for your patience and understanding as we work through providing you and our staff with the safest possible environment.
